Course Description:

A 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training with Nam Chanterrwyn accredited with the American Yoga Council and Amy Freeman. This training will focus on anatomy, biomechanics, yoga history and philosophy. you’ll explore the fundamentals of asana, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness while diving deep into yoga philosophy.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Explore the art of conscious breath and stillness—mastering essential pranayama and meditation practices to calm the mind and awaken the spirit.

  • Study and embody the timeless wisdom of yoga philosophy, learning to skillfully weave its ancient teachings into the rhythm of modern life.

  • Uncover the inner architecture of movement! Dives into the anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system; revealing how muscles, bones, fascia, ligaments, joints, and attachments unite to bring strength, balance, and grace to every yoga pose.

  • Deepen your practice by learning to move with intention—skillfully performing each asana with alignment, grace, and awareness.

  • Ground your teaching in integrity—gain clarity on the ethical, legal, and financial aspects of yoga, and discover how to share your work authentically with the world.

  • Seek to improve skill, expand anatomical knowledge, and refine business practices through collaborative discussion

  • Commit to understanding social identity and positionality as a yoga teacher in how their role in they contribute to social justice issues, inclusivity, and accessibility in the yoga industry

  • Participate in honest self-inquiry (svadhyaya), self-discipline (tapas), and a willingness to surrender (ishvara pranidhana
